Open Government National Action Plan released – have your say!

The government has released the draft Open Government National Action Plan. TIA is funding a major social media campaign to encourage public contributions while also supporting civil society representatives to attend national briefings.

 

Victoria’s Integrity Changes

‘The Mandarin’ has published an article (11.10.16) by IBAC Commissioner, Stephen O’Bryan, titled ‘No room for complacency in building a corruption resistant public sector’.

 

Public servants voice corruption shock

An article in ‘The Mandarin’ (23.9.16) reports on the shock experienced by senior Victorian public servants when they discovered their colleagues may have been involved in corruption.

 

A growing call from business for company ownership transparency

The Medium website notes that ‘BHP Billiton becomes the latest in a growing list of companies and business leaders highlighting the importance of company ownership transparency, and starting to walk the talk by being transparent about elements of their own company structures, entities and ownership.’
