It has been another extremely busy and productive year for TIA.

National integrity system work remains a priority and establishing a federal anti-corruption agency is still firmly on our agenda.

We have maintained our strong media presence, particularly with regards to lobbying, undue influence and compliance with Ministerial Standards. Similarly, strengthening anti-money laundering laws to address money laundering through the property market, and improved foreign bribery laws, including robust adequate procedures and deferred prosecution agreements have been a focus.

TIA has actively participated in the Open Government Partnership. We have continued our global leadership of the Mining for Sustainable Development Programme which addresses corruption in mining licencing in 20 countries. This has strengthened our engagement with the private sector to promote transparency and accountability.

There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion. You are then invited to stay for drinks and a networking opportunity.

We are extremely thankful to HSBC who are kindly hosting our AGM this year.
