As the Federal Government continues to work towards the establishment of a beneficial ownership register, Transparency International Australia and the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, has provided additional input into the legislation and its review. This document, submitted to the Senate Economics Legislation Committee, focuses on critical aspects of legislation including director identification numbers and ASIC’s regulatory powers.
