TIA welcomes seasoned appointments to the National Anti-Corruption Commission
Transparency International Australia (TIA) welcomes the announcement of the the inaugural members of the NACC, and congratulates them on their appointment to this historic commission.
The upcoming establishment of the NACC on July 1 is a significant event in Australia’s transparency and anti-corruption framework, and TIA applauds the Albanese Government on its enaction.
“Under the proven leadership of Justice Paul Brereton, the combined experience of Nicole Rose and Ben Gauntlett will bring a wealth of knowledge to this critical new body,” said Clancy Moore, CEO of Transparency International Australia.
“Between them they have investigated war crimes, financial crimes and human rights violations; TIA is confident that the commission will continue to play a crucial role in upholding integrity and disrupting corruption across public and private sectors, and across Australia.”
